well if we've neglected our blog lately, it could be because we're too busy looking for furniture steals on craigslist. we just signed the lease to an awesome little townhome in apex, so we're in the market for stepping up game in home decor. i (jodi) started at goodwill with everything in our current apartment which isn't much. we'll let you know how the hunt goes.
in other news, we've really begun to plug in to our church more lately, and we're looking forward to what God has in store for us there. so far we've met some awesome friends there who have really reached out to involve us as much as possible. chris and hannah, (our first friends at sovereign grace)are traveling in ireland/england for the next month or so-- if you think of it, join us in praying for them. how awesome is it to take an almost two month trip to the UK?! through hannah and chris, we were introduced to Eli and Dawn who went to college at barton. we were blessed to hang out with them at the Na Conference which allowed us to get to know them a bit better. it's only been a few weeks, but we feel like we've known them for years because they've eaten at the creamery and they can appreciate our old stomping grounds (oh how wilson just brings people together). nevertheless, i think knowing them will prove to be quite fruitful ;)
