32 weeksWe went to the doctor at 32 weeks for our follow up sonogram where we learned that our baby's kidney had not yet healed itself. The medical term for it is Pyelectasis. There is lots of information online about the condition (both scary and reassuring), if you want to know more about it. Nevertheless, we have a follow up appointment at 36 weeks to see if there has been any progress so please pray with us that our baby's kidney would be healed! All the other results looked great, and we even got an estimated baby weight of 4lbs 10oz, which certainly indicates a healthy size baby at this gestational age!
I'm getting more and more excited every day to meet my precious little future futbol playin' baby. At least that's what I'm guessing he or she will be by the activity going on in my belly these days. Oh, and speaking of futbol... if you think of it, throw up some prayers for Brentley as he'll be attending child birthing classes this weekend during the World Cup finals. I'm a terrible person for scheduling it this coming weekend, I know. I'm just glad that we lost, because now I don't have to name our baby Donovan =)
