mama's day.

This first Mother's Day sure was a sweet one. It started around 5:30am Sunday morning. Tag apparently just wanted a snuggle, and since we were at the beach (on vacation) in a strange place, I happily obliged. My sweet husband woke up a tiny bit later and although we didn't speak, we smiled and kissed and I knew he was up to take over so I could go back to sleep. Awesome!

I woke up the second time at 8:30am to the smell of perfectly baked breakfast rolls. Sweeet! I got ready for church by 9:30am. Unfortunately, all other churches (except ours) start at 11am. Oh well... I can get over wasting an "on time" moment that doesn't count. (If you're a chronically late person, you'll understand what I meant).

We left church and I got treated to lunch in Beaufort-- crab cakes, yum! We came back to the house and took a family nap. YES!!! Tag and I slept for like 2.5 hours. Terrific! We woke up and spent the remainder of the evening enjoying one another immensely.
