The Happiest Engagement!

We were engaged on November 20, 2007 in Brooklyn, NY.  It happened by a park bench on the promenade overlooking Manhattan, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the Statue of Liberty just after dark.  It was the most amazing and romantic engagement I could ever dream of!  And if you know Brentley well, then you know he is capable of nothing less.  It's crazy to think on those days when we were just planning our future--in which we could really only fathom the two of us.  Though we knew we wanted a family with children, the reality of that was so far away!

I cannot believe it's been 4 years since that day.  It seems an entire world away on some days and on others, it was only yesterday!  Regardless, it was a magical day worth remembering!  I love you Brentley Cobb!  Thank you for choosing me.  I am so blessed to be your wife!

Sonnet 116
Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.
Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come:
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.
