in april, b and i took a little vacation to mexico to celebrate marriage--our marriage (5 years on May 4), and the actual marriage of dan and shiela. dan is one of b's best friends and was the best man in our wedding.
mexico--it was amazing!!! i didn't take many photos, but here are a few. we didn't do much of anything. wake up, put on swim suits. the hardest decisions we made were between hanging out at the pool or the beach. what drinks to order? reading or listening to a book on audible or maybe just enjoying the sounds of the ocean. lunch, was barely a question: fish tacos. almost every day. we took one evening before the wedding to head into town, playa del carmen, to have dinner with friends, josh and kelly. the next day we went to the wedding, which was beautiful!!! the next day, back to the hard life of hanging at the beach and then the pool.
this kind of doing nothing, was exactly what we needed. now, how to get a vacation like this lined up every year??? i'll be working on that.
