the poole family from perrow church (the church at which brentley's dad is a pastor) in wv came to visit us almost a month ago now, and that was a blast. jess and daniel came in on a friday night and we spend most of saturday trying to determine what to do. we wanted to see batman in the IMAX but it was sold out, so our other options were the dead sea scrolls at the museum of natural history or the duke gardens. we drove to raleigh to eat pizza at mellow mushroom, and then, of course, decided we should go to durham to see the duke gardens. below are a few pics from the visit.
after walking around outside for 3 hours we just had to have ice cream so we made our way to goodberrys (my fav) and decided to cook dinner at home that night. karen and anna came to stay saturday night we all went to our church on sunday at sovereign grace. michael and john stopped in later on sunday to meet the rest of the fam, so they could be on their way to the beach--one last family vacation before daniel started medical school.
