Baby Cobb's Nursery

*Compromise: The key to keeping a happy marriage and decorating a room, among many other things.

The nursery was not easy for us to decorate/plan. It was difficult because I kind of stink at decorating, because brentley and I have different ideas about what looks good, and because we don't know the gender of our baby. But, it's finally done! And, I'm pretty pleased with what our friend, compromise, left us with.

If you know us well, you know that Brentley loves animals, and I do not love typical "baby" colors. It's kind of hard, though, to avoid said pastels when you have a baby on the way. So when B and I started working on the nursery we didn't really have anything specific in mind. We knew we would incorporate animals (in moderation), but not have a zoo, aquarium, or forest theme. We both agreed on the room color being aqua (though the shade of aqua we did not quite agree on at first). And, eventually we found a bedding that we could both live with that went with what we could agree on. It's modern and doesn't have too many pastel elements, and it goes well with the art prints that Brentley wanted to use.

So here it is...!

And our enormously blessed baby's clothes, diapers, animals, books, etc. hidden away in the semi tidy closet ready for use!
